Wednesday, June 21st

*8:08 a.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the corner of 1st Street and Avenue J regarding a car accident. The driver that allegedly caused the accident, Nathan Gonzales, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated.

*8:26 a.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2400 block of Avenue B in reference to a 911 hang up call. During the call, a female reported she had been assaulted by her boyfriend. Antwon Mason was arrested for Assault Threat/Offensive Touch – Family Violence, and Interference with Emergency Request for Assistance. Mason was transported to the Brown County Jail without incident.

*9:53 a.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to Stonebrook Court regarding a burglary of a vehicle.

*11:22 a.m. Brownwood Police were called to the 3700 block of US HWY 377 regarding a theft.

*12:49 p.m. Brownwood Police responded to a call from the 400 block of W. Commerce Street regarding a theft.

*1:33 p.m. Brownwood Police responded to the 1500 block of Avenue C regarding a theft. A report was filed.

*4:13 p.m. Brownwood Police responded to Alpine Court regarding a burglary.

*4:38 p.m. Brownwood Police responded to the 25oo block of N. Main Boulevard in reference to missing livestock. According to the report, four black and white sheep (one male and three females) were stolen by an unknown suspect.

*8:21 p.m. Brownwood Police spoke with a complainant at the Law Enforcement Center regarding an assault. A report for Assault With Injury – Family Violence, and Kidnapping was filed.

*9:03 p.m. Brownwood Police conducted a traffic stop for expired registration on a yellow Volkswagen passenger car. This traffic stop resulted in the arrest of Nathaniel Christian Halk. One of the occupants, having the knowledge that he was a fugitive from justice, holding four outstanding warrants for his arrest, intentionally provided a fictitious name. Nathaniel Christian Halk was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated.

*9:30 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 400 block of W. Mayes in reference to a domestic disturbance. Officers spoke with the complainant and a report was filed for Assault Causing Bodily Injury – Family Violence.

*11:24 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1100 block of Vincent in reference to a disturbance. Brownwood Police Officers made contact with a male subject matching the description provided. The male subject gave a false name but was later identified as Brandon Lee Lopez. Lopez attempted to run from Officers on foot but was apprehended after short foot pursuit. Lopez was charged with Evading Arrest or Detention, a Class A Misdemeanor, Failure to Identify Fugitive Intentionally Gives False Information, a Class A Misdemeanor, as well as multiple Warrants.
