Monday, June 12th

*6:37 a.m. Brownwood Police responded to the 2200 block of Vincent Street regarding a hit and run incident.

*7:00 a.m. Brownwood Police were called to the 2200 block of Vincent Street regarding criminal mischief.

*7:20 a.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1600 block of 11th Street for a criminal mischief report.

*9:20 a.m. Brownwood Police conducted a traffic stop in the 1200 block of Belle Plain. After investigation, officers arrested Christopher Smith for Possession of Controlled Substance PG1 <1G and Possession of Marijuana <2oz.

*10:03 a.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to a business in Brownwood in reference to check fraud. A suspect was identified and the investigation is ongoing.

*3:09 p.m. Brownwood Police responded to the 2800 block of Cleburne Street in reference to a burglary of a habitation. According to the report, an AR 15 rifle was stolen.

*11:07 p.m. Brownwood Police were patrolling in the 1300 block of 2nd Street. A bicyclist was stopped for riding a bicycle without a front light. David Dewayne Peery was arrested for Possession of Controlled Substance PG2<1G in a Drug Free Zone.
