Saturday, August 19th
*8:19 p.m. Brownwood Police were called to United Supermarket after a suspect was allegedly caught stealing spinach dip. Due to a previous conviction, the offense was a class B misdemeanor, even though the item cost less than $3, according to the report. Officers arrested Timetha Candy McBride for Theft of Property.
Monday, August 21st
*10:56 a.m. Brownwood Police spoke with a complainant at the Law Enforcement Center regarding fraud. The complainant explained that he was checking his bank statement on line when he discovered that someone had changed his email address and login information. The complainant stated that someone had also created four fraudulent checks on his account.
*7:21 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to a north Brownwood address for a credit card abuse report.
*9:12 p.m. Brownwood Police arrested Demetricus Lamore Fisher in the 900 block of West Baker Street for Disorderly Conduct.
*11:47 p.m. Brownwood Police arrested Ernest Lopez in the 1400 block of Coggin Avenue for narcotics offenses. According to the report, officers found a “white piece of plastic” containing crystal methamphetamine.
Tuesday, August 22nd
*3:55 a.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the intersection of 1st Street and Coggin Avenue regarding suspicious activity. Officers issued a citation for drug paraphernalia to a 31 year old female.
