Saturday, August 12th

*Early Police were called to the 900 block of Early Boulevard regarding an wanted person at a convenience store location. Officers located Constance Fenton in a vehicle in the parking lot. Fenton was placed under arrest at which time officers located some unidentified pills. Fenton stated she didn’t know where the pills came from, and told police the pills “possibly were in these pants,” which she hadn’t worn in long time. Fenton was transported to jail. Early Police reviewed the car camera which showed Fenton reaching into her pocket and attempting to destroy the pills. Fenton was charged with possession of controlled substance and tampering with evidence.

 

Tuesday, August 15th

*8:16 a.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to a North Brownwood business in reference to a theft. Upon arrival, officers met with the clerk who advised that another employee was scammed out of sixty ($60.00) dollars. The complainant advised officers that she wished to pursue charges on behalf of her employer. A report was generated.

*11:01 a.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1900 block of Avenue B in reference to a domestic disturbance.

Wednesday, August 16th

*12:05 a.m. A Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy initiated a traffic stop for a defective brake light at the intersection of Brady Ave/Brin Street in Brownwood. During a consented search, a glass pipe with residue was found in the glove box of the vehicle. The residue tested positive for methamphetamine. The deputy arrested Joanna McCarty for Possession of Controlled Substance PG 1 < 1 gram.
