Thursday, April 27th
*10:45 a.m. Brownwood Police responded to the 400 block of 5th Street in regards to a burglary call. A case number was generated for a report.
*12:58 p.m. a Brownwood Police officer was dispatched to the area of Bangs Hill in reference to a reckless driver. Officers located the suspect vehicle and attempted a traffic stop. The suspect fled in the vehicle leading officers on a lengthy pursuit. Amber White was arrested for Evading Arrest with a Motor Vehicle, Aggravated Assault on a Public Servant, and DWI 2nd offense. White was transported to the Brown County Jail, where she was processed and released to the jail staff.
*2:26 p.m. Brownwood Police responded to the 3100 block of Morris Sheppard Drive in regards to a theft call. A case number was generated for a report and the case is still active.
*5:00 p.m. Brownwood Police responded to the 3000 block of Stephen F. Austin in reference to a disturbance. Damion Sawyers was arrested on scene for Assault Family Violence. Sawyers was released to the Brown County Jail.
*5:48 p.m. A Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy was dispatched to Tangle Briar in regards to a woman drove her golf cart off the bluff. She was lying on the ground not moving. A report was taken.
*7:30 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1700 block of Dallas Street in reference to a domestic disturbance. A report has been generated for Assault Family Violence with Injury and the case has been referred to Investigators for follow up.
