Friday, March 24th

*1:00 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of Terrace Drive in reference to a terroristic threat. A report has been filed.

*1:48 p.m. Brownwood Police patrolling in the 1100 block of Avenue K observed a white passenger car disregarding the stop sign located at the intersection of Avenue K and 1st Street. A traffic stop was conducted for the aforementioned traffic violation. During the stop, Christopher Allen Smith was arrested for Possession of a Dangerous Drug and Possession of Marijuana<2 oz.

*5:30 p.m. Brownwood Police responded to the 1600 block of Melwood Street in regards to a domestic disturbance. A report was filed.

Saturday, March 25th

*6:50 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2000 block of 7th Street for an assault. A citation was issued and a report was filed.

*10:43 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2800 block of Avenue D for an assault. A report has been filed.

Sunday, March 26th

*12:58 a.m. Brownwood Police conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of E. Baker Street. During this stop, Mickey Warren was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, penalty group 1, less than one gram.

*3:45 p.m. Brownwood Police responded to the 400 block of W. Commerce for a theft. A report has been filed.

*4:53 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 4300 block Woodland Park Drive in reference to a theft. According to the report, a gold ring with a black opal stone surrounded by diamonds was stolen by a known suspect. A report has been filed.

*7:50 p.m. Brownwood Police responded to Dollar General located at 315 E. Commerce Street in reference to theft. According to the report, a known suspect had stolen deodorant, perfume, and a Duracel charger. The suspect left behind a pink wallet containing identification and credit cards. A report has been filed.

*9:19 p.m. Brownwood Police responded to the 1800 block of 16th Street in regards to an assault. After investigation, Ryan Helms was arrested for assault/causing bodily injury.

Monday, March 27th

*1:26 a.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1400 block of Avenue D in regards to a domestic disturbance. A citation was issued for assault/offensive touch family member.
