Friday, February 10th

*7:43 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to a business near Magnolia and Southside Drive regarding an individual with erratic behavior. Officers later arrested the individual, 17 year old Daniel Coers, in the 2800 block of Southside Drive, for Failure to Identify and Resisting Arrest.

Monday, February 13th

*4:31 p.m. Brownwood Police responded to a call from the 1900 block of Good Shepherd Drive regarding burglary of a building. Miscellaneous candy, food items, and drinks were reported stolen. Evidence was collected at the scene, including digital photographs. A report has been filed and the investigation is ongoing.

 

*Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy arrested 34 year old Amber Dawn Beam, of Early, on warrants for Motion to Adjudicate: Fabricating or Tampering with Evidence, and Possession of a Controlled Substance.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy arrested 31 year old Brody Tyler Byrd for Possession of a Controlled Substance in a Drug Free Zone. Byrd was sentenced by the 35th District Court to 3 years in prison.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy arrested 33 year old Wesley Troy Cleveland, of Blanket, for Driving While License Invalid.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy arrested 68 year old Jerry Dean Edgar, of May, for Sex Offenders Duty to Register. Edgar was sentenced by the 35th District Court to 6 years in prison. He was previously convicted of Indecency with a Child/Sexual Contact of a child under the age of 16 years old.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy arrested 45 year old Hans Adrian Escamilla on a parole warrant.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy arrested 35 year old Amy Teresa Platter on a warrant for Motion to Adjudicate: Burglary of a Habitation.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy arrested 23 year old Jesse Caballero Robles, of Austin, on a warrant from the 35th District Court for Credit/Debit Card Abuse. Robles was sentenced to two years in prison.
