Thursday, February 9th

*1:23 p.m Brownwood Police were called to the Brown County Courthouse in reference to a burglary of a vehicle. Upon arrival, officers spoke with a complainant who is employed at the courthouse. She told the officers an unknown individual had stolen her wallet from her vehicle while it was parked near the 2300 block of Magnolia Street.

Friday, February 10th

*10:00 a.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 400 block of East Commerce regarding counterfeit money. A report was filed and the investigation is ongoing.

*10:44 a.m. Brownwood Police conducted a traffic stop near the 1100 block of Morris Street. During this stop, officers arrested Keith Mondale Stewart for Possession of Marijuana, less than two ounces, in a Drug Free Zone.

*11:24 a.m. Brownwood Police responded to a call from the 4000 block of Glenwood Drive regarding a hit and run incident. A report was filed.

*1:37 p.m. Brownwood Police responded to the 1200 block of Austin Avenue regarding counterfeit money. A report was filed and the investigation is ongoing.

*2:03 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2700 block of Southside Drive in reference to a runaway minor.

*2:33 p.m. Brownwood Police spoke with a witness to a hit-and-run incident near the 300 block of East Commerce Street. The owner of the victim vehicle was located and a suspect was identified. The victim did not wish to file charges, and an accident report was filed.

*3:26 p.m. Brownwood Police responded to a call from the 600 block of Melwood Street regarding a domestic disturbance. After investigation, officers arrested Lance Cox for Assault/Family Violence.

*4:35 p.m. Brownwood Police responded to a call from the 300 block of Bluffview Drive in reference to an assault. A report was filed.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy arrested 30 year old Cory Wayne Apple for probation violations. Cory Wayne Apple is currently being held at the Brown County Jail.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy arrested 27 year old Mallorie Brooke Pope Basio on a motion to adjudicate warrant regarding Possession of a Controlled Substance in a Drug Free Zone.

*Brownwood Police arrested 17 year old Daniel Coers for Resisting Arrest and Failure to Identify.

*Brownwood Marshal arrested 24 year old Adriana Nicole Denmon for Driving While License Invalid.

*Brownwood Marshal arrested 50 year old Danny Ray Gray for Expired Registration and Failure to Maintain Financial Responsibility.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy arrested 40 year old Fernando Aguirre Narvaez for S/W Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, and S/W Burglary of a Habitation.

*Brownwood Marshal arrested 18 year old Keith Stewart for Possession of Marijuana, less than 2 ounces, in a Drug Free Zone.

 

Saturday, February 11th

*12:13 a.m. Brownwood Police conducted a traffic stop near the 800 block of Avenue I. After making contact with the driver, officers noted signs of intoxication. A medication bottle containing a small amount of marijuana and a blue glass pipe were also discovered. Officers arrested the driver, Jessica Purcell.

*1:59 a.m. Brownwood Police conducted a traffic stop near the 1400 block of Austin Avenue. During this stop, officers arrested Nicolas Zepeda for Driving While Intoxicated and Open Container.

*5:02 a.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 900 block of 7th Street in reference to Criminal Mischief. A tire was stabbed with a sharp object and a known suspect was listed. A report has been filed.

*10:30 a.m. Brownwood Police were called to the 1600 block of Stewart Street for an assault. The officers spoke with a complainant and a report has been filed.

*10:59 a.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 500 block of 7th Street regarding a domestic disturbance. After investigation, officers arrested Zachary Middleton for Assault Causing Bodily Injury/Family Violence.

*2 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2200 block of Elizabeth Drive regarding Suspicious Activity.

*2:26 p.m. Brownwood Police responded to the 1300 block of Willis Street regarding Criminal Mischief.

*4:54 p.m. Brownwood Police were “flagged down” by a pedestrian near the 900 block of Avenue D in reference to found property. A report for theft has been filed.

*5:37 p.m. Brownwood Police responded to a call from the 500 block of East Commerce regarding counterfeit money. A report was filed and the investigation is ongoing.

*11:22 p.m. Brownwood Police conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of US 377 and Texas Avenue. After contact with the driver, officers arrested Larry Carpenter for Driving While Intoxicated.

*Brownwood Police arrested 30 year old Stephanie Ann Flores for Failure to Appear.

*Brownwood Police arrested 26 year old Roseanne Lopez Ortega for Open Container, Violation of a Promise to Appear, and Driving While License Invalid.

*DPS officer arrested 51 year old Kevin Stuart Powell, of Horseshoe Bay, for Driving While Intoxicated, 3rd Offense.

*Brownwood Police arrested 37 year old Karen Elaine Turner, of Early, on a Coryell County warrant for Theft by Check: $1,500.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy arrested 45 year old Scott Anthony Yeoman, of Cross Plains, for Driving While Intoxicated.

Sunday, February 12th

*12:08 a.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 700 block of West Commerce Street regarding Criminal Mischief.

*8:00 a.m. Brownwood Police responded to a call from the 1600 block of Coggin Avenue regarding Criminal Mischief. A report was filed.

*3:17 p.m. Brownwood Police spoke with a caller from the 2800 block of Good Shepherd. The caller stated his daughter had left the residence without permission. The daughter was located later that afternoon and returned to the residence. A report was completed for an additional incident: Assault/Family Violence.

 

*5:42 p.m. Brownwood Police received a call from the 1000 block of Riverside Drive regarding an assault. A report was filed and an investigation is ongoing.

*TPWD officers arrested 36 year old Codi Jacque Fuller for Possession of a Controlled Substance, less than 1 gram, Possession of Marijuana, less than 2 ounces, and Driving While Intoxicated.
