Wednesday, May 10th

*4:26 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2500 block of Greenway for a theft report. Officers spoke to the complainant and a report has been generated.

Thursday, May 11th

*11:56 a.m. Brownwood Police attempted to conduct a traffic stop in the 300 block of S. Washington Street. The suspect accelerated at a high rate of speed and abandoned the vehicle, and fled on foot. The suspect has been identified. A report was filed and the case is still active.

 

*12:25 p.m. Brownwood Police responded to a call from the 1700 block of 3rd Street regarding criminal mischief. An individual stated he witnessed two male subjects attempting to break into a residence in the area. The suspects were unable to gain access to the residence. An investigation is ongoing.

*1:02 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 110 block of Fisk Avenue in reference to terroristic threat. During this call, a female alleged that she had been threatened by another female. An active report was generated regarding the incident.

*8:00 p.m. Brownwood Police responded to the 1100 block of Vine Street in reference to a Disturbance. A report was generated for the incident.

*10:57 p.m. Brownwood Police conducted a traffic stop for operating a bicycle without a red reflector in the 900 block of Avenue A. The bicyclist, Samuel Sanchez, fled on foot. Sanchez was caught and arrested for an outstanding warrant out of Comanche County and Evading Arrest.

Friday, May 12th

*12:06 a.m. Brownwood Police responded to the 400 block of E. Commerce Street in reference to an intoxicated person. After investigation, a male was arrested for Public Intoxication, class C misdemeanor, and transported to the Brown County Jail.

*12:25 a.m. A Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy was dispatched to Belfast Drive in reference to an Assault. The complainant advised her future daughter-in-law was assaulted by her son. After further investigation, David Wayne Holland was placed under arrest for Assault w/Bodily Injury – Family Violence with Previous Convictions, a 3rd Degree Felony.
