The Howard Payne University football program held their annual football banquet the past Thursday honoring those who excelled on the field and in the classroom this season.
The annual HPU football banquet was held in the Bullion Suites of the Mabee University Center on the HPU campus. Team members and friends were in attendance.
After the dinner, several awards and recognitions were given out with head coach Roger Geise and his staff presenting. Recognition was given to the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Year Letterman to begin the evening.

Most Inspirational Player: Victor Gonzales “For enlivening & exalting teammates to believe in doing their best.
Yellow Jacket Award: Thomas Head “This award is given to a student-athlete that is an outstanding athlete and their ability as a leader contributes greatly to their team. It suggests leadership and effort that is above and beyond. It also suggests respect from one’s team.”
