Emergency responders were called to the 2800 block of Austin Avenue to a two vehicle accident Tuesday afternoon.
At approximately 2:35 p.m., two pickups were traveling south on Austin Avenue when one attempted a lane change, causing the other to swerve and strike a telephone pole, according to officials on scene.
Although one vehicle had a significant amount of front-end damage, the female driver was reported to be uninjured. The other driver was also reported uninjured.
Brownwood Fire Department, Brownwood Police and Guardian EMS responded to the scene.
