Phillip Richard Yazell, age 71, passed away at home with his family by his side on Saturday, December 28, 2019.
A visitation will be from 1 to 3 PM on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at Heartland Funeral Home in Early.
Phillip was born Saturday, August 14, 1948 in Brownwood to Herschal and Roylynn Yazell. He married Cindy Renfroe on January 13, 1968 and began a life together that blessed them with 2 children. Phil was an oil and gas producer for over 40 years. He enjoyed fishing and gold panning with his best friend, Steve Glass. But most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is survived by the love of his life Cindy Renfroe; son Randy Yazell of Brownwood; daughter Jenny Yazell of Brownwood; 3 grandsons, Trevor Yazell of Blackburg, VA, Parker Jackson of Wichita Falls, TX and Brayden Yazell of Brownwood, TX; a granddaughter Maddison Yazell of Brownwood, TX; and his great granddog Bear.
Phillip was preceded in death by his parents Herschal Yazell and Roylynn Neal; one brother Gary “Gray Beard” Yazell and best friend Steve Glass.
