A memorial service for Phillip Bond, age 61, of Brownwood, will be held at 10:30 AM, Saturday, September 16, 2017 at New Beginnings Church. Cremation is under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home.
Mr. Bond passed from this life on September 11, 2017 in Brownwood.
Phillip Dwayne Bond was born on December 4, 1955 in Brownwood to Rosie Mae (Holster) Bond and David Troy Bond. He attended Brownwood schools and had worked for Smith Roofing since 1972.
Phillip was a member of New Beginnings Church. He believed strongly in a personal relationship with God. His definition of church was showing love. He was always a helpful hand and gave to many. He was a great pawpaw and “Pops” and did many activities with them from fishing to football games.
Phillip is survived by his children Modesta Nicole Perrie, Jonathan Dwayne Bond, Teresa Allie Rose Billings and Danielle Lee Bunton; grandchildren, Melissa Jane, Isaiah Reynolds, Charles Billings, Keommi, Jacob, Kaitlyn and Kylie Bond, Lillian Bennett, Peyton and Emery Bunton; his siblings, Wilma Gray, Verda Gravell, David Bond and June Greenlee.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Ramona Bond and two grandbabies, Hallie Faith and Lisa Bond.
Our dad will be forever loved and forever missed….Best man we ever knew.
