She was retired, and a member of New Sunrise Fellowship Church. In trying to describe our beloved, mother, grandmother, it is probably easiest to say that she was near perfect. Never a harsh word, she wanted to be a  friend to everyone and she succeeded in doing so. A very meek woman,  mom was strong as she faced the challenges her life brought her, always trying to comfort us when we hurt over what she was going thru. She came from a huge family, and as she battled cancer, nothing seemed to ease her pain like a game of cards with all her brothers and sisters. It was with great honor, that her family was able to care for her in the last days of her life.

She is survived by daughthers, Gloria Field and husband Jimmy, Mary FrancesLeinbaugh and husband Ray, all of Brownwood; Alice Cole of BIrmingham, Ala.
