Peggy Joyce Waddle, age 68, of Early died Friday afternoon at the Brownwood Regional Medical Center following a short illness.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Monday in the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Dan Chapman officiating. Burial will follow in the May cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2 – 4 PM on Sunday at the funeral home.
She was born May 19, 1944 in Dublin, Texas the daughter of the late Arlie and Lorene Caldwell Simpson. She married Billy Gay Waddle Sr. in Brownwood on March 7, 1964. She was a homemaker and a member of the Trinity Chapel in Early. Peggy was a very loving person with a sweet personality and will be missed by many.
She is survived by 3 Sons, Billy Waddle, Jr. and wife Kerrie of Early, Harold Waddle and wife Nan of May, and Brent Rose and wife Cheryl

She was preceded in death by her parents, her step-father, Raymond Purcell, husband, Billy Waddle Sr., and a brother, Stanley Purcell.
