So, what is Texans for Lawsuit Reform? One might better ask, “WHO is Texans for Lawsuit Reform?” Texans for Lawsuit Reform is Republicans, Democrats, and Independents from all across Texas. They are small business owners, homemakers, and community volunteers. They are lawyers who want their profession back, and plant managers who want their companies to expand facilities to create job s for Texas. They are folks who want to eliminate the costly “tort tax”. They are ranchers and teachers who have anguished over needless lawsuits. They are doctors and nurses. They are citizens who want a better future for themselves and their children.
Texans for Lawsuit Reform has been working for more than a decade to create a civil justice system that discourages frivolous lawsuits and outrageous claim for damages. To learn more, go to www.tortreform.com.
