This is a special time of year for The Pecan Valley Kiwanis Club, when members get to award their scholarships to Brown County High School students.
Pecan Valley Kiwanians awarded their first scholarship of the season at the Early High School Awards program.
“It was our honor to award Patrick Murphy with one of our club’s $1,000 Scholarships. In addition, Patrick was announced as this year’s Valedictorian at Early High School. Way to go, Patrick!” said Kiwanian Don Holland.The PVKC President James Glasscock made the presentation, commenting, “We are so appreciative and thankful for the communities’ support of our fund raisers. It is because of that support that we have the funds to award these deserving kids these scholarships.”
