Funeral services for Paul Norris, age 58, of Brownwood, will be at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, October 6, 2010 in the Davis-Morris Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Renford Norris officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Comanche. Visitation will be held on Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 at the funeral home.
Mr. Norris died Saturday, October 2, 2010.
Paul was born on February 15, 1952 in Russellville, Alabama to Roy and Rosalie (Sledge) Norris. He served his country in the US Navy. Paul lived in Alaska for 14 years and owned and operated Paul’s Speedway Grocery in Anchorage for ten years. He had been a resident of Brownwood since 1996. He worked as a truck driver for Ingram Concrete.
Paul is survived by his two sons, Nathan Norris of Brownwood and Byron Norris of Baumholder, Germany, the mother of his children, Lavon Woods of Granbury, a sister Pearl Lambert of Arizona, two brothers, Roy Norris of Sun City, Arizona, and Renford Norris of Frisco.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Daisy Norris; two brothers, Jay Norris and Jared Norris.
