DormanPattPatricia Ann Dorman, 82 went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at 2:07 p.m. at Brownwood Regional Medical Center surrounded by her family and friends at her bedside.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 24, 2016 at Heartland Funeral Home.   The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 25, 2016 at the Early Church of Christ.

Patt was born April 4, 1933 in Dallas Center, Iowa to Kenneth and Lorene (Gift) Mullins.  She was the oldest of 7 children.  She graduated from Minburn High School, Minburn, IA and married her high school sweetheart, Clarence Dorman on October 7, 1951.

They made their home outside De Soto, IA until 1967 when the family moved to Taft, TX.   She was a housewife and stay at home Mom of three daughters and worked part time at Pioneer where her husband was employed.  She adored her family and loved unconditionally not only her family but everyone.  She was compassionate and full of grace.  Serving the Lord was her first priority and she was a beautiful example of a Christian woman.  She was a member of the Early Church of Christ.  She had a passion for gardening, for cooking for her friends and grandchildren and great grandchildren, making family traditions and singing songs of praises.

She is survived by her husband Clarence Dorman of 64 years, daughters, Becky Hodges, Carol Pawlik and husband Mike, Linda Worley and husband Donnie, grandchildren, Tawnya McDorman, Mandy Kocian and husband Jon, Chase Hodges and wife Jessica, Angie Madrazo and husband Chris, Amy Faris, Julie Whitworth and husband Jeff, Josh Worley and wife Jill and Jenny Conger and husband Cody, 15 great grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter; sisters, Beverly Plant, Sara Arndt and husband Wayne, Mary Finch and husband Earl, brothers, Jim Mullins and wife Kathy and John Mullins and wife Kathy and many nieces and nephews.

Patt was preceded in death by her parents Kenneth and Lorene Mullins and brother Ronn Mullins and sister-in-law Hattie Jo Mullins.
