Mrs. Mashburn passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2010, in Ft. Worth Texas.

Patsy Ann Ratliff was born on February 21, 1929 in Brownwood Texas, to Jesse and Mattie Ratliff. She was raised, and attended school in the Brownwood area, and on May 23, 1944, she married the love of her life, Wayne Mashburn. With their roots in Brownwood, they were relocated to Fort Worth, Temple, and Bellville during Wayne’s 39 year career with Santa Fe Railroad.
Patsy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her greatest passion in life was caring for her family and making sure their home was filled with love. She will be greatly missed by us all, but we find peace in knowing that she and her husband of 48 years, have once again, been united.

She is survived by two sons; Barry Mashburn and wife Benita, of Mullin and Dennis Mashburn and wife Kathy, of Abilene; one daughter, Paula Williams and husband Earl, of Fort Worth; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and four nieces. Patsy was proceeded in death by her loving husband, Wayne Mashburn, and her son, Warren Mashburn.
