Patsy A. Little of Brownwood went to be with her Lord on July 31st, 2011 while with her husband of 63 years, Arthur Little.
Patsy was born in Brown County on September 17th, 1931 to Raymond D. and Birdie Doll Matlock and raised on a farm outside Early. A graduate of Early High School, she married William Arthur Little on July 10th, 1948. Other than 13 years in Dallas, Patsy lived the majority of her life in Early and Brownwood and was a long time member of Southside Baptist Church. While Patsy spent the majority of her life as a housewife, she held a special place in the hearts of her nieces and nephews, could out-cook Paula Dean, had a witty sense of humor to her death, had lifetime relationships with her friends and loved to study the Word.
Funeral services will be held at Davis Morris Funeral Home at 1:30 PM Friday, August 5th with her nephew Pastor Marc “Denny” Denson officiating and interment to follow at Jenkin Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:30 – 7:30 PM on Thursday, August 4th also at Davis Morris Funeral Home.
Patsy is survived by her husband William “Arthur” Little and a loving family; granddaughter Savannah Belle Denson of Corpus Christi, sister-in-law Irene Tolston of Ennis, two nephews and three nieces; Floyd Tolston and wife Linda of Ennis, Marcus “Denny” Denson III and wife Kelly of Corpus Christi, Melissa Shew and husband Brian of Lewisville, Vicky Cloud and husband Bruce of Dripping Springs and Janet Longino and husband Jeff of Tyler. Grandnieces and grandnephews include Cassidy Wilson of Lewisville, Jessica Liska and husband Paul of Ennis, Jacob Longino of Tyler, Nicholas Longino of Tyler and Jacob Cloud of Austin.
