ClarkPatPat D. Clark, age 75, of Brownwood went to be with the Lord Thursday, February 19, 2015.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, February 26, 2015 at Central United Methodist Church with Tim Boeglin, Art Allen, and Pat McClatchy officiating, interment will follow at Salt Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday evening at Blaylock Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home.

Pat was born to John Wylie and Bessie (McMeans) Clark on July 12, 1939 in Valera, Texas. Pat graduated from Brownwood High School; after high school he attended college at Howard Payne University. Pat was a partner of Anderson-Nelson Shoe Store until closing. He worked at Davis-Morris Funeral Home and Greenleaf Cemetery before retiring. Pat was a member of Central United Methodist Church in Brownwood and the Downtown Brownwood Lions Club. Pat was a self-made artist, he was an avid domino player, and he loved fishing and was a huge sports fan.

 

Pat is survived by his wife of 36 years, Sandy Clark of Brownwood; children, Rodney Clark of Lewisville, Randy Clark and wife Mikki of Abilene, Brent Clark and wife Dana of Eugene, Oregon, Krisit McClure and husband Rick of Japan; grandchildren, Amber and husband Andrew, Misty and husband Chris, Brandon and wife Angie, Caleb, Kolby, Camri, Evan, Grace, Lindsey and Seth McClure; 4 great-grandchildren, Claire and Keira Crawford, Quinn and Coen Loocke; brother, Don Clark and wife Elna of Lake Brownwood; sister, Mary Beth Felch of Brownwood; sister-in-law, Janet Clark of Nevada; brother-in-law, David Carroll and wife Laneta of Brownwood. Pat is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Bobby Clark; sister, Brenda Carroll; brother-in-law, Melvin Felch; grandson, Kaden Clark; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dr. Q.Z. and Maxine Martin.
