Funeral services for Patricia “Pat” Collins, age 71, of Lake Brownwood will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 22, at Netherton Funeral Home & Cremations. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Mrs. Collins died October 18, 2010 at Community Hospital in San Angelo.
Pat was born August 3, 1939 in Bellville, Texas. She was married to Floyd Collins on September 22, 1955 in Dayton, Texas where they lived for 47 years. They moved to Lake Brownwood and have been residents there for eight years. Pat was a member of the Brown County Lions Club. She was dearly loved and will be missed by all whose lives she touched.
Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Floyd Collins of Lake Brownwood; children, Sunnie and Ed Frye of Point Blank, Fred and Cindy Collins of Liberty, JoNan and Kirk Rogers of Shepherd, Jay Collins of Dayton and Kristi Collins of Brownwood; 17 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and counting; sister Mary Elaine Varnon of Houston; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Pat was preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth Thomas.
The family requests memorials be made to assist with medical and final expenses.
