Sunday, shortly after midnight, officers responded to a call regarding a loud party and a strong odor of marijuana coming from a house in the 1800 block of 14th Street.
According to reports, when officers approached the house, they walked by a small storage building and could hear a woman laughing and noted a strong smell of marijuana. The report further noted that when looking into the storage building, the officers found a woman with two Hispanic males, sitting around a table, which had a usable amount of marijuana on it.
The two males were identified as 22-year-old Aaron Perez and 25-year-old Roberto Saucillo, according jail records. Saucillo admitted that the marijuana on the table and the pipes were his, along with more marijuana in a bag. The report noted that another bag of marijuana was claimed by Perez. Further noted in the report, the total weight of the marijuana was 3oz. Both Perez and Saucillo were arrested for Possession of Marijuana>2 oz<4 oz. Saucillo was also charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. The woman was not arrested according to police reports.
*In an unrelated incident, Brownwood Police and Brown County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the intersection of Waco and Spruce streets regarding a report of yelling and a possible fight. Officers detained 36-year-old Fabian Duke Gomez and noted that he had gold paint on his hands, clothing , and around his nose and mouth according to the Sheriff’s report. Gomez was arrested and charged with Possession/Use of an Inhalant/Ingesting a Volatile Chemical.
