PamperMe4TheHolidaysThe Brownwood Rotary Club has announced that several local businesses will present Style Shows of the latest fashions and accessories during the Pamper Me for the Holidays Show next weekend, Friday and Saturday.  Fashion Shows will occur on Saturday, Nov 12 as scheduled:

•  11:00  Hamilton’s

•  Noon  Factory Connection

•  1:00    Dazzling Divas

•  2:00    Accessorizer

•  4:00    Shear Chaos

Laura Terhune, Show Coordinator for the Brownwood Rotary Club, stated, “Other exhibitors include spas, salons, hair and skin care companies, laser skin analysis, massage therapists, goats’ milk soaps and custom-made lotions.”  She continued, “In addition, arts and craft vendors from across the state will offer unique hand-crafted or embellished items such as crosses, jewelry, clothing and children’s fashions and accessories.  Attendees can find the perfect distinctive Christmas gift for that special or hard-to-buy-for person.”

Another feature of the Pamper Me for the Holidays Show will be quilting demonstrations by the Brownwood Quilting Guild.”  BQG member Doris Rice added, “Throughout the show, members of our organization will show the latest trends and techniques for quilting enthusiasts including ‘Ruler’ Demo on Friday evening by Angela McCorkle and I will do a ‘T-shirt’ demo.”  Rice concluded, “On Saturday, we will have an on-going ‘hand quilting’ demo by Sheila Smith all day in addition to a repeat ‘T-shirt’ demo, ‘English Paper Piecing’ demo, and ‘Applique’ demo.”

The show will be held at the Brownwood Coliseum this Friday, Nov 11 from 5 to 9 PM and Saturday, Nov 12 from 10 AM to 5 PM.  Admission is $3 for adults 12 and over on Friday and $5 per person on Saturday which includes admission to the five style shows and chances to win a flat screen television.  Advanced tickets for Saturday are available at the Brownwood Chamber of Commerce through Thursday for only $3 per person. Proceeds from the show benefit the Brownwood Rotary Club’s Dictionary Project for Brown County Third-Graders.
