Brownwood News – A 93 year-old grandmother and her 59 year-old grandson were taken to the hospital and treated for smoke inhalation following an overnight fire in Brown County.
According to Brownwood Fire Marshal, Buddy Preston, the call came in a little after 2:00 am Tuesday morning at a mobile home on County Road 362. The cause of the fire had not been determined as of 6:30 am. The home was a total loss.
Blanket, Early, May, Zephyr and Comanche Volunteer Fire Departments all responded along with Lifeguard EMS, Preston said.
