A dually pickup truck was involved in a one vehicle rollover accident Wednesday afternoon, sending the driver to the hospital.
Brownwood Police responded to the accident on the off-ramp of the Bill Monroe Overpass, where Austin Avenue connects with Carnegie, in Brownwood. According to a witness on the scene, the male driver lost control near the overpass and rolled the vehicle on Carnegie.
The driver was able to exit and walk away from his vehicle after the accident and then fell to the ground, according to initial reports. He suffered undisclosed injuries and was taken to Brownwood Regional Medical Center. No other information was available as of Wednesday afternoon.
