Early Police responded to a one-vehicle accident which injured one person on Thursday afternoon.
The accident occurred at approximately 3:10 p.m. in the 300 block of Lucas Drive, when a Chevy Cavalier left the roadway at the 90° curve and struck a metal fence.
The female driver of the vehicle was transported to the hospital for evaluation and treatment of her injuries, which emergency responders on scene reported appeared to be nonlife-threatening.
The vehicle, pictured above, had significant front-end damage and was towed from the scene.
Early Police Department, Early Volunteer Fire Department and Allegiance EMS responded to the accident.
