According to Texas Department of Public Safety, a local highway patrolman passed away in the line of duty Thursday night.
William “Karl” Keesee, 49, THP Sergeant Brownwood, Region 5 died in the line of duty October 29th, 2015 at approximately 10:30 p.m. as a result of a one vehicle crash in Mills County on US 84 near Goldthwaite, Texas. Details of the crash have not been released at this time.
Sergeant Keesee proudly served the Texas Department of Public Safety and the citizens of Texas for over 25 years. Funeral arrangements are pending with Heartland Funeral Home of Early.
