As the construction project on Early Blvd continues, workers will attempt once again to install the traffic signal bridge across the intersection of Early Blvd, U.S. Hwy 183 North and Orchard Drive.
An attempt was made to install the signal bridge last Friday morning, but when fittings did not line up, workers had to abort the attempt and look to repair the problem. Traffic was backed up and diverted from Early Blvd for several hours last Friday as a result.
The reinstallation was scheduled to happen on Tuesday evening, but was cancelled due to the weather.
Workers are planning to make the final installation attempt tonight at 8pm. Traffic will be diverted while the work is being done and drivers are advised to seek alternate routes if possible.
