Two vehicles collided in the intersection of Avenue K and 4th Street Monday evening resulting in the injury of the male driver. The extent of the driver’s injury was not reported on scene.
At approximately 6:15 p.m., a Pontiac Grand AM and a GMC SUV collided in the intersection causing significant damage to the passenger side of the Grand AM and minor damage to the passenger side of the GMC’s front end.
The driver of the Grand AM was transported to the hospital for injuries while the male driver of the GMC was not reported to be injured.
The intersection was partially blocked; however, traffic continued to flow with the help of a firefighter and a police officer who directed traffic.
Brownwood Police Department, Brownwood Fire Department and EMS responded to the scene of the accident.
