One woman was transported to the emergency room for evaluation of her injuries from a traffic accident which occurred just before 2:00pm on Tuesday involving three vehicles.

According to Brownwood Police officers on scene, a woman driving a tan Chevy Impala ran the stop light at Baker Street and Center Avenue and was struck by a white Ford Expedition.  Officers stated that the Impala was traveling northwest on Baker and the Ford Expedition was traveling southwest on Center when the two collided.

As the two vehicles spun from the impact, the Impala struck an unoccupied parked car causing front-end damage to the parked car.  The Impala sustained damage to the front passenger door, rear corner of the driver’s side, and bumper along with a broken windshield.  Air bags did deploy on the Impala.  The Expedition was equipped with a cattle guard but still sustained some front-end damage.
