Funeral services for Olen Frank(s) will be held Monday, January 22, 2018 at 2 PM at the Davis-Morris Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Mr. Frank passed away January 16, 2018.
Olen Chester Frank was born January 27, 1936 in Brown County to Ollie and Louise (Whitman) Frank. He attended Brownwood High School, where he excelled in football and set records for the Brownwood Lions during the 1950’s. He married Barbara Grady on January 12, 1979. Olen was a Master Plumber for over 60 years owning Brownwood Plumbing and Brown-Tex Plumbing. He was a member of Mid-Town Baptist Church. Olen was an avid bowler.
Those left behind to cherish his memory include his wife, Barbara Franks of Brownwood; children, Rex and Cheryl Franks of Brownwood, Karen and Dwight Fleet of Brownwood; stepchildren, Jamie Ho of Brownwood, Jim and Debbie Grady of Waco and Joe and Kim Grady of Arkansas; grandchildren, Jason Franks, Joshua Franks, Candice Stuart, Stephanie Simon, Jayce Guererro, Patrick Grady, Stephen Grady, Shawn Grady, Jackie Grady, Seth Grady and Kimberly Ho; nine great grandchildren; sister, Patsy Northam; and brother, Larry Frank.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and brothers Charles Halk and Buddy Frank.
