Oil prices are showing a little weakness in recent days as the dollar has shown some strength.
Crude oil prices dropped to $75.47 midday Monday to its lowest point in a while which could effect prices at the pump if only slightly.
GasBuddy.com is showing that the cost of gasoline has stabilized with an average price for regular unleaded being $2.484 in Texas which is about a penny drop from one month ago.
Prices in the Brownwood area average out close to the same number as of Monday with the low price being $2.42 per gallon and $2.59 per gallon on the high side for regular unleaded.
If the dollar can continue to show some strength, some analysts believe that oil could drop below $70 again by the end of the year. Only time will tell.
