Brownwood News -The Brownwood Police Department responded to the following calls for service in recent days:
On Wednesday, August 7,2019 at approximately 0800 Brownwood Police Officers took a call in reference to a theft in the 4400 block of Westridge. A report was generated for this incident.
On Wednesday, August 7, 2019, at approximately 15:50 Brownwood Police Officers went to a south Brownwood address in the 3700 block of Savoy to serve a warrant. Brownwood police arrested a woman for Parole Violation and a man for Hindering Apprehension or Prosecution of a Known Felon.
On Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at approximately 16:20 hours, an Officer was dispatched to the 1900 block of 4th St in reference to a burglary. The officer arrived on scene and spoke with the involved parties. A report has been made.
On August 7, 2019 at 18:36 hours, a Brownwood PD Officer was dispatched to 401 W. Commerce (Wal-Mart) in reference to a theft that had already occurred. A possible suspect was identified and a report was generated.
