Northwest Elementary third-grade students recently partnered with the employees of the T.R. Havins Unit to collect items for Silver Angels, local nursing home residents that could use a special treat at Christmas.
The students collected items to be placed into goody bags they decorated that were then delivered to residents by Santa.
