Northwest Elementary students performed for a nearly full house at the Dorothy McIntosh Fine Arts Center Auditorium on Tuesday, December 10th, where second and third-graders took the stage for the school’s annual Christmas program. The program, directed by music teacher, Dean Kiesling, included a variety of holiday favorites such as
In the Spirit and
Jingle Bells (2nd Grade),
Celebrate with Joy! and
Winter Fantasy (3rd Grade) and
White Christmas/Blue Christmas and
We Wish You a Merry Christmas (Combination 2nd & 3rd grade) among others.
The event included an HPU Saxophone Quartet that filled the auditorium with Christmas music while patrons found their seats, and between the different grade level performances, BHS Senior, Trey Fawcett led the audience in Joy to the World and Jingle Bell Rock while BHS Choir Director, Cindy Franklin provided piano accompaniment.
