The Northwest Elementary Multiplication “B” was held May 19th and 18 third-grade students participated in the contest. All six third-grade teachers from Northwest Elementary picked three students from their class to compete in the double-elimination bracket.
Assistant Principal, Jerry Jones served as the bracket keeper while teacher, Brec Moss entertained as the multiplication game host. Students competed toe-to-toe throughout the competition while judges, Danielle Badillo and Christine Young, verified the winners of each round.Johnnie McDowell was awarded as the overall winner of the contest. Also Awarded were, Brianna Cantu (2nd place), and Tye Ramos (3rd place). In addition, finishing in the Top 10 were Bryce Pack, Jayme Cottle, Kaelan Money, Arzul Rincon, Hayden Deen, Elena Sandoval, and McKenzie Spearman.
