Funeral services for Norman Edward Reich, age 74, of Early, Texas will be held 12:00 PM Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Grace Lutheran Church in Brownwood. Interment will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM Friday at the Heartland Funeral Home. Mr. Reich passed away May 27, 2018 at St. Lukes Hospital in Houston, Texas
Norman was born February 28, 1944 in Hamilton, Texas to Gottlib and Beulah Reich. He served in the U.S. Army where he was a Rotary and Fixed Wing Pilot. Norman married Jean Bobbit on August 27, 1965 in Houston and was a graduate of Sam Houston State University. He was a retired stationary engineer for the VA Hospital in Houston, member of the Masonic Lodge and Grace Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his son Todd Reich and wife Tamara; three grandchildren Johnathan and fiancée Ashton, Kaylee and Victoria; one great grandson Meliodis; two brothers Monroe Reich and Albert Reich.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Jean Reich and two brothers Leroy and Raymond Reich.
Heartland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
