Norma Van Riper, 82, of Midland, passed away Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, in Midland.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 7, 2012, at Serenity Memorial Gardens Cemetery, with Tim Baugh officiating.
Norma was born March 9, 1930, in Altus, Okla. She loved working in the yard, gardening, sewing and quilting. She was involved with the Senior Citizens Center in Brownwood and other various activities there. Norma moved to Midland in 2010 to live closer to her son.
Survivors include her son, Dr. James Van Riper and wife Marcy of Odessa; son, Irving K. Van Riper Jr. and wife Karen of San Diego, Calf.; son, Richard D. Van Riper of Tucson, Ariz.; and grandchildren, Kyle Van Riper, Chase Van Riper, and Conner Van Riper.
