Nona Donahoo Carriger
Nona Donahoo Carriger, age 60, of Brownwood passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2017, at Brownwood Regional Medical Center.
Memorial Services for Nona will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 24, 2017, at Blaylock Funeral Home Chapel with Joseph Simmons officiating; Visitation will be held prior to service from 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home. Private family interment will follow at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.
Nona was born June 28, 1956, to William “Bill” and Winona (Hallmark) Donahoo in Brownwood, Texas. Nona was a 1975 graduate of Brownwood High School and a 1981 graduate of Cosmetology School. She worked for many years as a cosmetologist in and around Brownwood. Nona loved football, painting, and swimming but most of all she loved her family.
Nona is survived by her son, K.T. Turney and wife Kyndall of Roscoe; 3 grandsons, Kaleb, Konner, and Kreed; her mother, Winona Donahoo of Brownwood; sister, Trish Simmons of Rising Star; and a special friend, Tony Holmes. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Questie Rae Turney; father, W.B. “Bill” Donahoo, and brother, W.H. “Bill” Donahoo.
