Noma Lee (Sparks) Fowler passed away on April 12, 2016 after a lengthy illness.

Born to Neil and Flora (Manley) Sparks on May 25, 1928, in Brownwood, Texas, she married B. J. Fowler on December 12, 1945. They were inseparable until his death in 2010. She was a homemaker, mother, lover of animals, and gardener. She was proceeded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Melvin Sparks; sister, Sylvia Sparks Costa; her son, Ronnie Fowler; and granddaughter, Bundy Fowler Bowers.

She leaves behind her daughter, Shirley Fowler Fragua; her son, Donald and wife, Jeana; and her daughter Noma Fowler-Sandlin and husband, Chris; 5 grand-children, Larry Owings, Summer Huggins, Zeke Fowler, Leeann Epley, and Graeme Fowler-Sandlin; and 8 great-grand-children.

There will be no visitation, but a graveside remembrance at Clear Creek Cemetery outside of Bangs, Texas on Friday, April 15, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, or to the animal shelter of your choice.
