Brown County emergency responders were called to the scene of a one-vehicle rollover in the 1100 block of County Road 233 Saturday afternoon.
At approximately 5:00 PM, a Ford pickup with four occupants was reported to have been involved in the rollover accident. According to one occupant of the vehicle, the driver navigated a curve and overcompensated causing the vehicle to overturn after it hit the concrete drainage barrier. The vehicle ended up overturned in a shallow ditch.The occupant also reported that the four were initially trapped inside the vehicle, but that another occupant hit a window in the pickup with a BB gun, breaking it and allowing them to escape. No injuries were reported.
Brookesmith Volunteer Fire Department, Winchell Volunteer Fire Department, Guardian EMS, Texas Department of Public Safety, and Brown County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene of the accident.
