A graveside funeral service for Juanita Murray, age 79, of May, will be at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at Pleasant Valley Cemetery with Dick Williams officiating.
She died Friday, April 26, 2013 in Brownwood.
Juanita Clements Murray was born on Nov 24, 1933 in Gustine to Jerry and Linnie (Jackson) Clements. She attended Gustine schools and graduated from Gustine High School. She moved to Midland and later married Ralph Murray and began raising her family prior to moving to Brownwood in 1981. In that same year she opened a café in May. She loved watching the May Tigers and wearing her Kelly green. She had her beloved dog Bubba that became her constant companion. She enjoyed bowling, bingo, scrabble, and Jeopardy.
Nita was preceded in death by her parents, husband, siblings, and children.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Darla Biggerstaff and Aron Caudill and their signifiacant others; her great-grandchildren, Jade and Randy Biggerstaff, Matthew Angus and Harley Oakley.
