Nina Faye Tharp, age 87, of Wheat Ridge, Colorado, passed away September 25, 2019 at Arbor View Nursing Home in Wheat Ridge, Colorado.
She was born July 18, 1932 the daughter of Oscar W. Buck and Nettie Mae Curry Buck. She graduated and received a bachelor’s degree and later taught school for many years. She was married to Farrell Tharp who preceded her in death. She formerly lived in Brownwood prior to moving to San Angelo. She had been a resident of Colorado for the past twelve years. She was a member of a non-denominational church.
She is survived by two daughters, Jana Kay Tompkins and husband Ken of Centennial, Colorado and Vicki Hunt and husband Kenneth of Wolfford, Texas. She is also survived by four grandchildren and five great- grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband and several brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 PM Saturday, October 5, in the Davis-Morris Funeral Chapel with burial to follow in the Greenleaf Cemetery.
