BrownwoodNews – Hill Country Home Care is a new licensed in-home care agency locally owned by Patrick and Haley Bell.

Bell ran into the same problem over and over again during her 4 years in home health as Registered Nurse. “Once a patient became medically stable, they no longer qualified for home health services but most of them still needed some type of assistance to be able to remain at home safely.”

“For many, the nursing home is not an option or not financially affordable. This leaves families struggling to assist with care and often times, no help at all.” Bell says that Hill Country Home Care plans to be “the next step for those who may be struggling to remain at home safely, but do not want to rely on their family to provide their care.”

Services provided by Hill Country Home Care include: light housekeeping, meal preparation, medication reminders, laundry, running errands, pet care, transportation to medical appointments and leisurely activities, grocery shopping, bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene care.

Their software also allows the client and their adult children access to care logs and invoices, to ensure the client’s needs are being adequately met.

They also offer a Veteran’s Program, helping Veterans or their surviving spouses get in-home assistance at no out-of-pocket costs. Hill Country Home Care handles all the required paperwork to qualify Veterans or their surviving spouses and provides care giver services in the mean-time while waiting on approval from the VA.

Caregivers at Hill Country have passed background checks, drug-testing, and TB testing prior to employment.
