DaVita held their Grand Opening Open House on February 28th, at their new location on Crockett Drive.
Offering “Kidney Care that fits your lifestyle” DaVita has Kidney Smart classes that teach ways to “take control of your kidneys” via online as well as in-house instruction for patients.
Their staff will walk patients through the stages of dialysis treatment, up to preparing for Kidney Transplant.
DaVita staff shows visitors the “half-man” showing how a patient can Dialyze at home.
Offering assistance with Home Hemodialysis, patients who are able to have the treatment, can dialyze at home instead of having to come to a treatment center.
Dietitians on site will guide patients through the many ways that a healthy diet can help with their treatment.
