Brownwood Girls Softball Association announces the date of their opening ceremony has been moved to April 4th and that their draft date is now slated for March 3rd.
The association is still accepting registrations for ALL Brown County girls and surrounding areas to play in Brownwood. Registrations will be accepted until March 2nd with no late registrations accepted. Registration fees are $45/per child and $25/per second child and $20/per additional child.
Registration forms may be picked up and dropped off at Weakley-Watson Sporting Goods, located at 102 Fisk Avenue in Brownwood.
Forms may also be downloaded online at www.BrownwoodGirlsSoftball.com and mailed to Brownwood Girls Softball Association P.O. BOX 611, Brownwood, Texas 76804.
The draft for all divisions will be held at the Bert Massey Sports Complex in Brownwood on March 3rd as follows:
- 8U & 10U – 1:30pm to 3:00pm
- 12U & 14U – 4:00pm to 5:30pm
- 6U – No Draft but coaches are meeting on March 4th at 6:30pm to draw names.
