Bruner Auto Group and Bruner Toyota have announced that construction of their new dealership facilities is nearing completion and are projecting a time frame of early June to finish.
Bruner Auto Family President Greg Bruner stated that the dealerships will relocate their facilities to the intersection of Hwy 377 and Hwy 183 adjacent to Prima Pasta and Scott’s Western Wear, across from Heartland Mall. The facilities will consist of a 33,000 square foot Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, Cadillac full service dealership; a 22,000 square foot Toyota full service dealership; and a 9,500 square foot collision center.
“We are working hard on finishing up the interior work of paint, flooring and millwork. Then we will be focused on installing the technology, equipment and all new furnishings to compliment the facilities,” said Bruner. “While we have a lot of details to complete, we feel comfortable that we will be anticipating moving in June. We appreciate our great customers and the entire community being patient with us during this time of transition. It is an exciting time for everyone.”The state of the art facilities will include the newest corporate images and create a regional attraction that will service Brown and all of the surrounding counties. Incorporated into the facilities will be a modern, comfortable sales and service environment. Both facilities will include state of the art expanded service capabilities to provide quick and convenient service to all customers. The new Collision Center will be equipped with a Car-o-Liner frame straightening and electronic measuring system. This will be the first of this type of equipment in Brown County. The paint shop will have the latest in paint booth technology offered by Blowtherm, which is known throughout the industry and recognized as one of the best available.
General Manager Jim Stanley stated, “I am so excited to bring the latest in automotive facilities to the good customers of our area. Our longtime and new customers will get to experience facilities that are normally only found in metro areas, but will continue to receive the same hometown customer service that our customers have come to expect from Bruner Auto Group and Bruner Toyota.”
Bruner stated that the new facilities will not only bring more modern and state-of-the-art services to the area but will also expand the current vehicle inventory. The facility offers space to park 500 vehicles, which will be made up of new and used inventory of both dealerships. The inventory will increase gradually according to manufacturer policy, according to Bruner. A significant increase will be seen especially in the GMC products within the first six months he said.
In addition to expanded inventory, Bruner said that new models are coming out this year, making timing of the dealerships’ opening “golden.” These models begin with the recent release of the new Impala and will be followed by the 2014 Silverado and Tundra.
“We couldn’t have planned it any better,” stated Bruner. “Both Toyota and General Motors will be releasing a number of new products through the end of the year.”
