Neo Eddie Baca III, 34, of Brownwood passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 in Abilene.
A visitation is planned for 6:00 PM and the Rosary at 7:00 PM Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at Heartland Funeral Home.
Catholic Mass will be at the St. Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Brownwood at 10 AM Wednesday, January 8, 2020.
Neo was born July 18, 1985 in Albuquerque NM to Sylvia Baca. He graduated high school in Albuquerque from West Mesa High School. Neo moved to Brownwood with his family and worked for the City of Brownwood as a Supervisor in the Street Department. He shared his life with Betty Jo and together they raised a son, Sam. Neo loved playing baseball and fishing with his grandpa. He enjoyed taking his grandma to Socorro, New Mexico to buy green chile in bulk from farmers. To get away on his days off he spent time playing pool and taking vacations to casinos near and far. He loved to cook on his wok for his family making all their gatherings special. Neo was a die-hard Dallas Cowboy fan, he loved them through the good and the bad.
Those left to cherish his memory are his beloved, Betty Jo McGraw; his mother, Sylvia and Father Frank; sister, Ashley; brother, Eric; son, Sam; grandfather, Joe Maes; nieces, Alaya & Neomi; along with several uncles, aunts, cousin and friends.
Neo was preceded in death by his grandfather and grandmother, Neo Sr. and Mary Baca; Grandmother, Mary Maes; and uncle, Larry Baca.
